Drogheda Wolves basketball club is just six years old but has over 500 members and growing. They cater for male and female, from kids academy through to Senior Men’s national league. They have an inclusion team as well as many other social development basketball related initiatives.

It is a great privilege and honour that Drogheda Wolves have been accepted as a member in Drogheda Chamber. Our goal as a club is to 'To Unleash the Power of Basketball for social good'. This has been our driving force since the inception of the club 6 years ago. With over 500 members and growing, we cater for male and female, from kids academy through to Senior Men’s national league, we have an inclusion team as well as many other social development basketball related initiatives.

We currently use 5 different schools around town for training and matches. This is both costly and complex to operate, however as you may be aware, that in partnership with the Louth Meath Educate Together Board (LMETB) St Oliver's Community College, we have been approved by the Department of Sports to develop a state of the art basketball stadium. This is something that is so badly needed for Drogheda and great news for all of the community. We are targeting to enter a woman’s national league team for the season 2026 and hope that our Men's national league team will progress to the National SuperLeague to elite of Irish Basketball in the same year.

Of course such ambition bring costs and we would welcome any of you to come on board as a sponsor at any point. We have a range of opportunities and packages that may interest you and provide your business the opportunity to be associated with our journey on both the local and national stage.

You may have already seen the posters, that we are rolling out a car draw. Tickets are €20 per ticket or €50 for 3.

Our small ask is that you would consider selling these tickets within your business. Either as Christmas stocking fillers, employee tokens of appreciation or simply demonstrating your support for the club.
