DROGHEDA and District Chamber is dedicated to helping all sections of business and the community in the region and we are delighted to unveil Drogheda Wolves basketball club as our latest ‘Not for Profit’ member.
“We want to encourage a wide range of businesses and organisations to be part of the chamber family and in that way, we can have a stronger voice when it comes to delivering in all aspects for the people of this region,” chamber CEO, Hubert Murphy, stated.
“Having the Wolves on board is terrific. They were formed in 2019 and in that time have become a major force in the game. They do so much for so many,” he added.
To Belong, To Play, To Thrive is their motto and they certainly live up to it.
“The Wolves have a big car draw on December 31 and are looking for support from the community. The costs involved in operating teams from under 10 to seniors, for both men and women, on an All-Ireland stage, are significant and all support is very welcome. As a chamber member, we’ll be working with them to spread the word about a wonderful organisation.”
